We pasture our chickens outside every day of the year using two 50 ft chicken schooners.
The schooners are built on skids that allow them to be towed twice a day, one space at a time.
These mobile coops are equipped with nesting boxes, roosts and automatic waterers.
Moving the chickens across pasture provides the chickens with fresh forage and clean bedding.
It allows for efficient distribution of their manure so nutrients can regenerate the pasture and grow a healthier crop for the next grazing animal.
Our chickens enjoy sunbathing, preening and foraging while being protected from inclement weather and predators.
