Pasture run eggs
During the spring and summer, we tow the chicken schooners to fresh pasture twice a day.
Moving the chickens across pasture allows the chickens access to fresh grass and forage and evenly distributes their manure.
The two "mobile coops" are equipped with nesting boxes, roosts and automatic waterers.
The schooners allow the chickens to forage and preen outside while being protected from the elements and predators.
This form of regenerative agriculture benefits both the pasture and our chickens.
The pasture benefits from the added nutrients by being grazed and the chickens enjoy fresh, nutrient-dense grass that in turn gives us a delicious and nutritious egg.
All of our eggs are perfectly imperfect and are ungraded, that means that no egg is the same but each egg is fresh and nutritious!
